Our Vision: Student to Student Success. We believe that LSU students who are pursuing a college major, in good academic standing, and who care for the Baton Rouge youth community are great resources as mentors for the Big Buddy Program. By connecting students (us) and future college students (them), BUDDIES@LSU believes we can make a lasting impact on the Little Buddies in the Big Buddy Baton Rouge program, in hopes of encouraging them towards higher education with a passion for learning.

Hosanna Christian Academy Afterschool Event This Friday!! April 29th 3 pm- 5:30 pm 8850 Goodwood Blvd Baton Rouge, LA 70806 We will be assisting the Big Buddy Afterschool Program with fun and informative workshops while also playing with the kids a part of the program.

Fundraising We will be participating in cleaning up Alex Box after the Northwestern game on May 17th at 9 pm and in return will earn $500 for the club We need as many volunteers as possible to make it run smoothly and quick, so please mark your calendars now and come out and help!!

Membership Please pay $5 membership fee today if you have it with you Attend at least 2 meetings per semester = 2 meeting points (Don’t forget to sign in for today’s meeting) Gain 6 volunteer points and 2 meeting points plus PAY $5 membership fee in order to be an active member for the semester 1 hour of service = 1 point Opportunities: Saturday event (3 hours= 3 pts) After-school tutoring 1 point each hour spent with your Little Buddy if you are already a mentor with the Big Buddy Program (honor system, send a pic of y’all to budslsuattendance@gmail.com) Fundraising: each 10 dollars = 1 pt (also email to budslsuattendance@gmail.com)
