Internet Safety

Our Purpose To teach children in grades 2 – 4, in a non-threatening way, about internet dangers and strangers in general.

How we will accomplish this… Draw what you think a stranger looks like Places you can meet strangers (including the internet) Net Smartz interactive activity – Who’s your friend on the internet Video - Beat the Tricks Discussion and re-draw strangers Scenario cards

Why are we teaching this to students? To bring attention to this new danger which is now prevalent in our society. To learn independent ways to be safe and protect themselves.
