Background The CHIETA Voucher Scheme is a project which offers free non technical training to its member companies Levy and non-levy paying companies, CHIETA accredited training providers, SMME’s, CBO’s CBC’s, NPO’s, NGO’s and Co-Ops that are within the chemical sector can participate in this project. The training is at no cost to CHIETA stakeholders. Training Providers register on www.chietavoucher.org.za to participate in the project and companies apply/access CHIETA vouchers on the same portal. The approval of the vouchers applied for are at the discretion of CHIETA, based on availability of funding. SMMEs are prioritized on this project The Voucher System is open for one (1) month only for Provider Registration. Thereafter the System will open to CHIETA Stakeholders/member companies for application up to when funds are depleted.

Training Programmes Training programmes covered under the CHIETA Voucher Scheme are: SMME Development related Skills Programmes; Employment Equity; Mentorship and Coaching; SDF; Assessor; BBBEE; Moderator; Facilitator and Any other OD ETDP (Occupationally Directed Education, Training and Development Practices) related unit standards based programmes
