11/3/15 warm up Please copy and complete: Chemistry is the study of matter. Matter has mass divided by volume. Matter is either an element, compound, or a mixture.

11/4/15 Please copy and complete: Copper is an element. Copper Chloride is a compound. Copper and Copper Chloride are substances. Copper chloride dissolved in water is a mixture.

Objective: Students must be able to distinguish between substances and mixtures.
