Labradar Quick Start Guide English

Slide open the battery cover and insert 6 AA alkaline batteries Slide open the battery cover and insert 6 AA alkaline batteries. An alternate USB power source may be used if it does not exceed 5v 1 amp

Turn LabRadar on Set Parameters: Select Velocity Range (Rifle, Handgun, Archery)

Set Trigger Source- Trigger Set Trigger Level- 1 Set Projectile Offset- 30cm

Mount on a solid tripod or suitable mount

Align the radar with your target, use a small diameter tube for more precise alignment Using V notch for sighting Using Tube for sighting

Press the ARM button. The light will change from blue to orange Press the ARM button again to disarm the radar.

Position your muzzle in the proper location NO MUZZLE BRAKE - Even with side of radar *always position your muzzle so the muzzle blast will not directly impact the Labradar

90 DEGREE MUZZLE BRAKE - In front of radar (Approx. 25cm) *always position your muzzle so the muzzle blast will not directly impact the Labradar

ANGLED MUZZLE BRAKE - Even with or slightly behind side of radar *always position your muzzle so the muzzle blast will not directly impact the Labradar

SUPPRESSED - Even with or slightly behind side of radar *always position your muzzle so the muzzle blast will not directly impact the Labradar

Large Caliber Weapons with heavy muzzle blast (338, 375, 50, etc) Additional protection may be required to prevent damage to Labradar and to acquire accurate readings. A solid barrier should be used.

RIMFIRE muzzle location Place LabRadar approximately 10 cm in front and 10 cm to the side of the muzzle

Air Gun - muzzle location when using the Air Gun Adapter Position the microphone in front and to the side of the muzzle so it can detect some of the muzzle blast

To change from the Armed mode to the Review mode press and hold the Arm button 3 seconds You must be in the Review mode To start a new series, Access the Parameters menu, Review previous shots

Indoor Ranges - Make sure your indoor range is greater than 15m long and 10m wide. LabRadar may not work on smaller ranges Targets - Do not use metal targets. They may reflect the radar and provide poor results.
