Final days of Jesus’ teaching in Galilee (8:31 – 9:50). Discipleship requires commitment (8:31 – 9:1). Elijah and Moses talked with Jesus when He was transfigured (9:2-13). Jesus healed a demoniac boy who suffered severely (9:14-29).

Greatness in the kingdom is achieved by humbling yourselves to serve others (9:33-37).
