A Peek at This Week in… Ms. Bonick’s 4th Grade Reminders Math Reading Fri., Dec. 16 Reminders The last Secret Santa clue is due Tuesday! Wednesday, December 21st, will be the big reveal with a $5.00 gift! Math Long division all week! Practice, practice, practice! Quiz on Tuesday or Wednesday! (still finalizing date) Reading We continued to work on the elements of plot this week. We ended the week with tying all the elements of a story together. We chose a book and wrote about the characters and their traits, the setting and its significance, and the elements of the plot. Practice multiplication facts and long division! Writing This week, we brainstormed ideas for our opinion essays and thought of ways to support our claim. Upcoming Events Social Studies Chapter 3 Social Studies TEST is Tuesday, December 20th! Students discussed what it means for regions of the U.S. to be economically interdependent. They also learned what globalization is and why countries depend on one another. Lastly, they learned the value of transportation and communication.
