The 2007 budget shows an increase in federal grant funds The 2007 budget shows an increase in federal grant funds. Over 7 years, the federal grant money has increased by 26%.

In 2006, there was an increase in philanthropist giving, or private grants. Giving by corporate foundations rose by 6% in 2006 to a record $4.2 billion, and 57% of those surveyed said they expect to give more this year. Oklahoma Higher Education System 23 public Undergraduate Institutions (2 C; 11 U; 12 CC) – 1,500 to 17,000 students 12 sponsored programs offices (7 U; 4 CC) 11 are centralized, (3 have 1 FTE; 7 have 2 FTE) pre-award services + some post-award 1 decentralized model - 1 FTE/each of 5 colleges 12 independent colleges & universities – 2 offices
