The Challenge To Choose The Choice Is Ours! 13 "Enter by the narrow gate And It Is A Choice We Will & MUST Make The way of Trust and Submission The way of rejection and rebellion. Matthew 7:13,14 (NKJV) "Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.

The Challenge To Choose The Choice Is Ours! 13 "Enter by the narrow gate And It Is A Choice We Will & MUST Make The way of Trust and Submission The way of rejection and rebellion. Speaks to the Understanding & Will The need to learn of the way & yield to it’s requirements You CHOOSE YOUR DESTINY

Who Will Enter God’s Kingdom? 5 Matthew 7:21-23 (NKJV) 21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'

It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! Who Will Enter God’s Kingdom? It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! Submitting to God’s rule is what the Kingdom Of God Is! (Mat. 5:3-7:14) Submitting with our mind – Submitting in our words & actions – Submitting with our heart – Submitting our will –

It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! Who Will Enter God’s Kingdom? It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven . . .” “Not everyone” - “Not everyone who says to Me” - “Not everyone who says to Me Lord, Lord” - Acts 8:30-39

It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! Who Will Enter God’s Kingdom? It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven . . .” Words ‘ALONE’ are NOT ENOUGH to enter the kingdom - Mat 25:11,12 Even When The Words Themselves Are Right & Directed towards the Right Person! Acts 8:30-39

It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! Who Will Enter God’s Kingdom? It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven . . .” Not Denying The Importance of Confessing Christ - (Mat 10:32,33; Rom. 10:9,10) But we confess or Deny Christ in both word & deed - (Tit 1:16; Lk 6:46) Acts 8:30-39

It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! Who Will Enter God’s Kingdom? It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven . . .” To Claim Jesus As Your Lord, BUT Not Submit To His Will - Is A Glaring Contradiction . . . A Lie! Luke 6:46 (NKJV) "But why do you call Me 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do the things which I say? Acts 8:30-39

It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! Who Will Enter God’s Kingdom? It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! ". . . but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” The Will Of The Father? - Deut. 18:15- 19; Acts 3:22-23; 7:37 Mat 17:5; John 5:23; 14:23 The Father has spoken to us through His Son, Jesus - Heb 1:1-3; John 14:21-23 Jesus has spoken to us through His disciples - Mt 28:18-20; Lk 10:16; Eph 3:3-5

It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! Who Will Enter God’s Kingdom? It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! ". . . but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Hebrews 2:1-4 (NKJV) 1 Therefore we must give the more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, 3 how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him, 4 God also bearing witness both with signs and wonders, with various miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to His own will?

It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! Who Will Enter God’s Kingdom? It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! ". . . but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” The principle of salvation by grace through faith . . . Noah – Genesis 6 Abraham – Genesis 22:1-18 Joshua & Israel – Joshua 6 Naaman – 2 Kings 5:10-14 Those saved on the day of Pentecost – Acts 2:41; etc

It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! Who Will Enter God’s Kingdom? It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! ". . . but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Calling on the name of the Lord is MORE than saying the words “Lord, Lord” . . . Not prayer – Jer 29:11,12 The result of hearing & believing - synonymous with obedience – Rom 10:13-17 Includes repentance & baptism – Acts 2:21,38; 22:16; 1 Pet 3:21

It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! Who Will Enter God’s Kingdom? It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! “Many will say to Me in that day.” John 12:48 (NKJV) He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him--the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day. The number is NOT a few -but many! - Mat 7:13,14 “In that day” refers to the judgment – Mat 25:31ff “That day” will come – John 5:28,29; Ac 17:30,31; 2 Pet 3:10 “All will appear before the Lord” – Mat 25:31; 2 Cor 5:10

It’s Not What You Claim, But What You Do! “Many will say to Me in that day.” The sad reality & danger of self deception - Many do not receive a love for the truth - 2 Thes 2:10-12 The art of self deception often defends itself by comparing our deeds to those “more wicked” - 2 Cor 10:12 Glorying in what “good” we do - Luke 18:9-14; Pro 14:12
