24 years!!! Hello and welcome to Room 14. Hopefully you are in the right place. My name is Mr. Lobitz and I will be your fifth grade teacher for this year. I have been a teacher for 24 years! I have taught all grades K-8 at some point or another in my travels. This presentation will not only tell you a little about me, but will also serve as a demonstration for a presentation you will be doing later in the year.

My Family My wife, Pam, and I live on the other side of Folsom. I have two children, 17 year old Kaitlyn and 14 year old Alex. Kaitlyn is senior and Alex is a freshman at Folsom High.

I LOVE Music I love music. I can play the guitar and the piano (sort of…) I have played the guitar for over 30 years Music

I like to: Golf Play football and basketball Camp/hike/backpack Mountain bike Snow and water ski

MY FAVORITE SUBJECTS My favorite subjects are math and history. I enjoy them because I like to solve problems and learn about the past.

Alliance Redwoods Our trip to Alliance Redwoods begins in October. This will be my first year going to Alliance Redwoods. How about you???

MY FAVORITE FOODS My favorite foods are PIZZA, pistachios and black coffee (is that even a food?)

The Guitar I play five electric and four acoustic guitars. Mr. Lobitz plays Martin, PRS, Ibanez, Fender, Taylor, ESP and Tacoma guitars.

MY FAVORITE BANDS I love to listen to music. My favorite band is RUSH, but I like to listen to other bands too!!! I also like all sorts of music i.e. jazz, Reggae…

MY FAVORITE TEAMS My favorite sports teams are the USC Trojans, Los Angeles Lakers UCONN Huskies, and Oakland Raiders.

PLACES I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT If I could visit any place in the world I would like to see China and Egypt. I would like to walk on the Great Wall and climb in and around the Great Pyramids of Giza. I would also like to see King Tut’s Tomb.
