This led to the explosion of the British Invasion, and subsequently movements in British music, which include the New Wave of British Heavy Metal and Britpop.

Interesting facts about Green Day The band originally was named Sweet Children  Green Day went incognito as a band called the Network and released an album, ‘Money Money 2020,’ in 2004 Wal-Mart refused to sell ‘American Idiot’ , one of the bands biggest hits, because of some lyrical content, and bucking the trend, Green Day refused to release a censored version for the store to stock Billie, the lead singer, is known for being a little sexual during concerts.

Dropkick Murphys The Dropkick Murphys are a band formed in 1996. The band was initially signed to independent punk record label Hellcat Records, releasing five albums for the label, and making a name for themselves locally through constant touring and yearly St. Patrick's Day week shows, held in and around Boston.  In 2007, the band began releasing music through their own imprint label, Born & Bred via Alternative Distribution Alliance.
