IT Online Programme Structure Completely online 8-week modules, 5 modules per year Module = (Independent study + online discussions + weekly assignments + online exam) Facilitator outlines their expectations at the start Up to 15 students per class Dip. Software Engineering: 1 year (no thesis) MScSED programme: 2 years (including thesis) Regis – practical / database / online learning NUIG – IT research

MScSED Thesis The thesis is an opportunity to perform an in-depth study in an IT area of your choice: Thesis = 30 ECTS (vs. 6 ECTS for modules) Early research towards end of Year 1 Consider topic Keep this in mind over the coming year… Have you a business idea or maybe a work-related project?
