Practical skills on the topic: Research and evaluation of particulate air pollution

purpose: Study of particulate air pollution is most often carried out at a workplace assessment, as well as in the evaluation of atmospheric air of populated areas

Necessary equipment and devices: floor scales Filter AFA or FPP allonge aspirator

1 Weigh-clean filter, write it on a paper weight of the filter holder (P1)

2 Collect system for air sampling

3-stretch through the filter of the air at a rate of 15-20 l / min 3-stretch through the filter of the air at a rate of 15-20 l / min. Within 3-5min

4 to determine the volume of air stretched (B)

5-weighed filter dust (P2)

6 to calculate the dust: x = (p2-p1): Vh1000mg in 1 cubic meter of air

7-assess the level of dust by comparing the "x" to the MPC for this type of dust and for specific conditions (production, air)
