History Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) was founded at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1904 by Maurice Carr There are now about 200 chapters at universities across the U.S. and we are currently expanding into Canada There are about 300,000 members HKN members serve the community, university, and department in various activities. How to Join Enter your HKN member information online (By Mar. 3) We will email you the address of a web form. Fill the form out and submit. Include your IEEE member number, if you are a member. Membership includes 1 free year of IEEE membership Pay membership dues (Due Mar. 3) $70 lifetime dues. Cash or check made out to “Eta Kappa Nu”. Give to Dr. Graham or Dr. Valenti Turn in your other materials by Apr. 17: Test (answer sheet only). Signature sheet. Cover of the info packet showing you did your 2 hours service.
