We are Playing Attack The castle you just drew on the board is under attack. I will give you a question. You will need to work together in groups to answer the question. Everyone must have the work/answer on their paper. I will randomly select one group and one person in that group to answer the question (work and answer must be shown). If they get it right, then they get to choose two different castles to “attack” (put an x on them). If they get it wrong, then I attack their castle. When you have three x’s, your castle is gone. Last castle standing wins two bonus points on their test.

Find the domain and range of the relation Age of Person Average Miles Driven in a Day 56 26 35 30 17 28

Is the following a function? State the Domain and Range

What do you know about slopes of… Parallel lines? Perpendicular lines?

Write the equation of the line parallel to 6x + 2y = 8 that passes through (2, -4).

Write the equation of the line perpendicular to y = -5x + 4 and passes through the point (5, 2).

Brandon lives halfway between Alex and Denise Brandon lives halfway between Alex and Denise. Caitlin lives halfway between Brandon and Denise. If Alex lives at the coordinate (4, 30) on a map and Denise lives at the coordinate (10, 2) on a map, find the coordinate of Caitlin’s house on the map.

The midpoint of AB is (2, -8). If A is at (0, 2), find B.
