All About Me Hi my name is Brock and I’m a 6th grader at United elementary. And I play baseball, basketball, and soccer for United. I have three siblings and take animals to the Columbiana county fair. I’m in gifted art and in gifted math. Some of my hobbies include of playing Xbox and listening to music.

Look at me as a writer I like writing but its not my favorite thing to do. I like writing personal narrative because it is stuff that happened to me. Not things around us.

Look at me as a reader I like reading in silence because it helps me concentrate on the book itself. Not other things around me. My favorite genre is Realistic Fiction because it could happen in real life.

White Fang by Jack London In the book White Fang there is a half dog half wolf creature. And every night the two hunters would go to sleep and wake up there would be one dog missing. And bill found out what it is, it is the she wolf. White Fang eventually becomes a fight dog. And had only lost one fight to a bulldog.

Save Me a Seat By: Gita Varadarajan and Sarah Weeks In the book Save Me a Seat by Sarah Weeks and Gita Varadarajan a boy named Ravi moved to the United States from India. And a boy who already lived in the United States is named Joe. And Joe always gets bullied and gets called names by the schools bully Dillion Samreen.

Prisoner B-3087 by Alan Gratz In the book the main character is Yanek is about to have his Bar Mitzvah. A Bar Mitzvah is when you hit your stage when you become an adult when you’re a Jew. And he cannot celebrate it because the Nazis are attacking his village. He gets takin away by the Nazis and lives through a lot of different camps

Lawn Boy by Gary Paulsen In the book Lawn Boy by Gary Paulsen a boy gets a mower from his grandma and begins mowing lawns. He makes a lot of money mowing lawns. He buys stocks and makes friends while mowing. Read the book to find out how much money he makes over the entire summer.

Tracker by Gary Paulsen In the book Tracker also by Gary Paulsen. A boy named John Borne is a hunter with his grandpa. But this year his grandpa is sick and John has to hunt alone. He tracks a doe for two days but as he closes in on it he notices that he cant shoot it. Its now longer about the killing, its about the life.

On My Honor by Marion Dane Bauer Mrs. Tedeschi read us On My Honor by Marion Dane Bauer, in the book two boys went to a river and swam in it not thinking that it would kill one of them. But they were not cautious. The other was left stranded and hadn’t done the right thing, tell his parents. Instead he left the stench of the river on him and waited for everybody else to figure it out.

The Cay by Theodore Taylor In the book The Cay the main character Phillip was living in Curacao. His island was being attacked by German U-boats. His dad was working on an oil plant on the island, but his mom wanted to leave the island and go back to Virginia where they had lived before. Phillip and his mother took a boat back to the US because she was scared to fly. About half way there they got torpedoed and the ship exploded. Phillip got in a life boat with his mother. After that the bow tilted and hit Phillip on the head. Luckily Timothy was there to pull Phillip aboard his raft. Phillip had woke up with a headache. The next day Phillip was blind and had no idea what he was doing. Phillip then fell in the water and did not know where to go. Timothy jumped in and pulled him to the raft by his hair. Later they finally drifted to an island. Living about a month or so later Phillip heard a plane so he ran down and lit a signal fire. He was later saved and had to have 3 surgeries to fix his blindness. And met up with his parents lived the rest of his life in Curacao.

The Island Of Blue Dolphins In The Island of Blue Dolphins a girl named Karana boards a ship going to a new village after the Aleuts attacked her village. Until she finds out her brother was still on the island. What will Karana do to save her brother Ramo. Read to find out.

Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt In the book Tuck Everlasting by Natalie Babbitt, the Tucks and the Fosters. Winnie Foster plans on running away from her house. All goes planned. Well not exactly she ran into Jessie Tuck at a spring of water and she wanted a drink but Jessie wouldn’t let her. Then Mrs. Tuck and Myles the other child show up and they know they have almost busted the secret. Read to find out what happens in the book.

Fall Is Journal Entry #1 Football Season Awesome Leaves Long Irresponsible Kids At Halloween Soccer Season

Journal Entry #2 I was on my way to a basketball game in Salem. And we were playing a really bad team. And it was in the first half and I was 12-13. In the second half we were now tied at 25. Nevin Hahlen was bringing the ball up the court and passed it to me. Then I shot it and made a three. Next possession I made another. Now it was 31-27. And we went down again and I shot again this time swished it. And we went home with a 36-29 victory over East Liverpool.

Journal Entry #3 In the NBA finals the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors were playing. And the Cavs were tied with the Warriors 89-89. Klay Thompson was playing on Kyrie Irving. But the Cavs wanted Curry on Kyrie. So they set up the pick and roll. Irving crossed over six times before he stepped back and drained a three in front of Curry. Then Curry tried to go down and make a three of his own. But missed. Then LeBron James went in for a dunk and got fouled by Draymond Green. He hurt his wrist but kept playing. At this point there was just 10 seconds left. And LeBron made 1 of the 2 free throws. The Cavs held on to win, by 4. And the city of Cleveland won there first championship in 52 years.
