What is the Network of Executive Women? The Network of Executive Women was founded in 2001 by a small group of CPG industry executives who believed there were not enough female leaders in the retail and consumer goods and services industry — and that everyone would benefit if there were Today the Network is the industry’s largest learning and leadership community The mission of the Network of Executive Women is to advance women, grow business and transform our industry’s workplace through the power of our community Note: Women make up more than half of the nation’s managerial and professional workforce but represent only 16% of its corporate officers and a miniscule 1.6% of the country’s CEOs.
