Daily Focus Calendars

Grades 50% Tests and Quizzes 50% Classwork, bellwork, homework

Tests Retakes: To retake a test, you must be up-to-date on classwork/homework and you must do test corrections. Test corrections will include an explanation of how to properly do the problem.

Quizzes Quizzes will happen throughout the semester. I will drop the lowest quiz grade. If you are absent during a quiz, that is your dropped score.

Classwork/Homework Classwork is assigned to be worked on and turned in. I will collect the classwork. It will be graded: 5/5 is full credit, anything that was turned in on-time and is less than 5/5, can be completed and resubmitted. If an assignment is submitted late (not due to absence) can receive, at most, 2.5/5. If you are submitting an assignment late because of an absence, you must label absent at the top to be eligible for full credit. Homework: this will become completing any unfinished classworks for resubmission.

An ostrich that is 108 inches tall is 20 inches taller than 4 times the height of a kiwi. What is the height of a kiwi in inches?

An emu that measures 60 inches in height is 70 inches less than 5 times the height of a kakapo. What is the height of a kakapo in inches?
