Pattern Pattern is created by repeating an element (line, shape or color) over and over again
Gradation A series of gradual, successive stages; a systematic progression
Composition The combining of distinct elements to form a whole
What Elements and Principles of Design can you identify?
Design Boards Design Boards are simply tools design consultants use to communicate with their clients. Generally, a design board consists of small samples of design elements proposed for the job. For example, a design board could include samples of stone floors, wood floors, granite counters, carpet, faux wall finishes and hardware. Design boards can help clients see what the products will look like together, making difficult design decisions easier for the client.
