COST OF UNIT

EFFICIENCY AND ECONOMY COST OF UNIT = Rs. 690/- LIFE OF UNIT 6 YEARS LPG BILL FOR I YEAR (12 CYLINDERS) 9X450+3X950=4050+2850= Rs. 6900 /- IF 52% ENERGY SAVED (6 CYLINDERS ONLY) 6X450=Rs.2700/- MONEY EARNED IN ONE YEAR 6900-2700=4200/- MONEY EARNED IN 6YEARS = Rs. 25,200/-

‘WASTE HEAT RECOVERY UNIT’ EXPERIMENTAL RESULT THE EXPERIMENT ADDRESSED THE PROBLEM: AMONGST VARIOUS ALTERNATIVES AVAILABLE THE MOST FEASIBLE AND CHEAP IS TO MODIFY THE EXISTING ONE BY USING, ‘WASTE HEAT RECOVERY UNIT’

EXPERIMENTAL RESULT Observations Data collected while heating 2 lit of water(up to 100 degree Celsius): in3modes, time required. Normal heating mode for 2lit. 8min 30 sec. Heating With ‘Waste Heat Recovery unit’ 7 min.40 sec. bottom cylinder only (460/510=90% ) 10 % heat trapped) Heating With ‘Waste Heat Recovery unit’ both cylinders (60 % heat trapped)

APPLICATIONS SIMULTANEOUS COOKING PREHEATING / THAWING REHEATING LOW TEMP APPLICATIONS e.g. noodles KEEPING FOOD HOT HOT WATER MILK …

APPLICATIONS

BENEFITS DERIVED If we succeed in saving X% of LPG in one kitchen then total domestic LPG consumption will be reduced by X%. Also it will also help reduce Co2 emission and global warming by X %.

ADVANTAGES Waste Heat Recovery unit IF IMPLEMENTED SUCCESSFULLY, shall result in Reduction in No. of LPG cylinders/year Money saving Low cost Easy to operate Low maintenance Long life Boosting of Country’s economy Contribution to environment

CONCLUSION WHRUK IS THE NEED OF THE HOUR, IT NOT ONLY SAVES THE MONEY, TIME, EFFORTS BUT THE VALUABLE RESOURES OF THE COUNTRY, THE ENERGY !! A MUST FOR EVERY KITCHEN CONTRIBUTION TO THE ENVIRONMENT

THANK YOU
