Under Armour was created to become the next generation t-shirt, but ultimately became an essential part of an everyday athletes uniform. Hello, I’m Kyle Wickens, Human Resource Director of Under Armour, and I’d like to welcome all of you to our recruitment seminar. Today you are all here to learn more about the Under Armour Corporation. In 1995, Under Armour was a small local company based out of Baltimore Maryland. Kevin A. Plank, the founder of Under Amour was at that time the special teams captain for the University of Maryland football team. Over the past 11 years of it’s existence, Under Armour has become a leader in sporting goods only behind three other sporting goods companies, Nike, Adidas, and Columbia. But our goal here is to pass them all. The job that all of you are here to learn more about is a very important one. Visual Field Merchandiser makes sure that everything is going properly in the Merchandising Field Floor. If there is a problem on the floor the VFM goes and helps fix it as promptly as he or she can. It is crucial that we here at Under Armour have a VFM or things could be very chaotic in the department of Merchandising. Under Armour
