CREATING A MARVELOUS MIND MAP!

Write your central idea/theme in the centre.

Add a branch that leads on from your central idea, don’t use straight lines but do use colour and images.

Create associations between ideas by creating sub branches Create associations between ideas by creating sub branches. Draw images as the brain thinks in pictures.

Create another branch in a different colour and repeat the process – if you get stuck for ideas move onto another branch.

Keep building up your mind map using curves, colour and images Keep building up your mind map using curves, colour and images. This is YOUR map so only you need to understand it!

Once your map is complete, you can keep adding to it as you discover/remember new information Keep it displayed on a wall and take frequent breaks to study it TASK: In small groups create a mind map with the central idea of STUDY SKILLS
