After: ‘Sin is crouching at your door, it desires you’. Gen 4:6 How can ‘submit’ not be negative!? Submit – ‘Hupotasso’ = to put things in the right order so they worked properly Nothing to do with not importance, pre-eminence or dominance

God’s Recipe for a Happy Marriage [Pt 2] ‘Husband is head of the wife’ - v23 This is about leadership ‘Submit in everything’ – v24 – Really? Only as far as where he leads is in will of God and is loving, kind and thoughtful for his wife. What about those with unsaved husbands? As a believer your #1 allegiance is to God Don’t follow his lead if it’s away from God!

And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, she must not divorce him. For the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her believing husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but as it is, they are holy. But if the unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances; God has called us to live in peace. How do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or, how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife? 1 Cor 7:13-16 - 13

Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behaviour of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives 1 Peter 3:1-2
