Purpose and Intended Outcome The Harvard Training Portal is going live today: July 25, 2016 It is a university-wide system for Faculty, Students, Staff and Affiliates: you may hear from users before we do We want to give you enough information to respond to users, if they come to you Intended Outcome We need your help and support: Understand the benefits of a university-wide training system Understand expectations for go live Know where to direct users Share our commitment for continuous improvement

PeopleSoft Training Admin State of learning at Harvard before July 2016 PeopleSoft Training Admin Multiple and Disconnected Systems LawRoom

After July 25, 2016 TrainingPortal.harvard.edu One single place to access and track all of your current and historical professional learning at Harvard. 90,000 active user accounts, University-wide 700 courses available (for starters) 4,000 managers will have access to assign training plans to their teams 500 PIs will monitor required training for 8,500 people using Harvard Labs 6,500 undergraduate students will take Title IX training in August One email address for support: TrainingPortalHelp@harvard.edu

Benefits University-wide and for all: faculty members, students, staff, and other persons of interest and affiliates. Easy access with the HarvardKey for 90,000 user accounts. Better user experience: intuitive browsing and course registration, automated notifications, one place for all training. Increased compliance with tracking and reporting for all regulatory and required training, university-wide. Improved talent management with manager access to assign training to their team. Improves onboarding. Reduce duplication: consolidate existing training systems, enable local training administration and integrate with other Harvard systems.

Expectations for go live We expect a range of responses: Most users will be pleased Demand may exceed our immediate capacity We will prioritize requests and we will address them over time Ex: Title IX training for Students Laboratories required to take EH&S training may need more hand-holding EH&S is working closely with the labs We are committed to make all necessary changes and enhancements

TrainingPortalHelp@harvard.edu Who to contact? One email address. Connected to ServiceNow. Users can also always contact the IT Help Desk. We need to hear from users! We are committed to continue to make changes and enhance the system over the next year and going forward.
