Secondary research: Reviews Research: Unit 2 Secondary research: Reviews
These are reviews I found on the website Trip adviser, they are reviews about The lord Whisky Tea rooms as I was unable to find reviews of the actual sanctuary itself. However each of these reviews specifically mentions the sanctuary in some way and their opinions on it. These reviews are my evidence for my secondary qualitative and quantitative research.
The lord Whisky Tea Rooms Trip adviser Review by User HecticHelen – “Love this place! I love it! All good, homemade food. The cakes are just gorgeous. The quirky, shelf with second hand stuff for sale always raises a smile but you can often find a good bit of treasure. I often take small groups of students here who always like to talk to the pig! Perfect place if you just need a quiet treat to yourself!” Visited August 12th 2014 Value – 5/5 Service – 5/5 Atmosphere – 5/5 Food – 5/5 Overall rating 5/5
The Lord Whisky Tea Rooms Trip adviser Review by user sarahanddarren – “Out of the way and quirky, but worth finding. We went here for lunch on Sunday as a family meal, after my parents had been here. I think the word quirky describes it well. The food is really homely, tasty and great value, and the second-hand items for sale all go to a good cause, of the animal sanctuary linked to the tea-room. Worth a visit!” Visited 19th October 2014 Value – 4/5 Service – 4/5 Atmosphere – 3/5 Food – 4/5 Overall rating – 4/5
The lord Whisky Tea Rooms Trip adviser Review by user KentKillieman – “All for a good cause. My wife and I have passed this a few times so we decided to pay it a visit and we were glad we did, had tea and scones, on this visit but will be back for sunday lunch. it all looks good and all served by volunteers. and at a good price. we have been to the animal sanctuary for open days to support the animals, and always have a good day out. well worth the visit and you wont be disappointed.” Visited March 2014 Value – 5/5 Service – 5/5 Atmosphere – 5/5 Food – 5/5 Overall rating – 5/5
The lord Whisky Tea Rooms Trip adviser Review by user Grey_hairLenhamUK “Good Food While Supporting a Worthy Cause. The Lord Whisky Tea Rooms are part of the Lord Whisky Animal Sanctuary and is run by volunteers to help fund the very good work done by the sanctuary. The food is excellent and covers a wide range from afternoon tea to three course meals and catering for private parties. Most of the cakes are home made by supporters of the fund and are also available to take away. The staff are also volunteers and their enthusiasm for doing a good job comes shining through in the level of friendliness and efficiency shown by them all. It's in an excellent location with plenty of Forestry Commission land to enjoy a good walk before having lunch or afternoon tea at the Lord Whisky. If you enjoy good food, a friendly atmosphere and also like to support animal welfare projects, the Lord Whisky Tea Rooms will satisfy both of these. In addition to the sanctuary, the Lord Whisky also run a low cost vets for people on Benefits who struggle to find the cost of looking after their pets.
