THE TEST OF DISCIPLESHIP I. Do We Have to Know When and Where? Chapter 7 THE TEST OF DISCIPLESHIP I. Do We Have to Know When and Where?  Read John 3:8; 2 Corinthians 5:17 Discussion Questions: 1. How would you answer a person who asks you for the exact time and place of your conversion? 2. What do you believe Jesus was saying in John 3:8? A person was heard to say that they had been saved 23 times. How do you feel about this? 4. Explain in your own words 2 Corinthians 5:17. Suggest several real-life situations that illustrate what you have just said.

II. Characteristics of a Growing Christian  Read Galatians 5:22-23 Discussion Questions: 6. What do you notice is the most obvious difference between the fruit of the Spirit and the works of the flesh as enumerated in Galatians 5:19-21? 7. What would you say to a person who has a “pick-and-choose” attitude toward the fruit of the Spirit?

8. Take a few minutes to discuss how each of the characteristics relate to one another. 9. Which characteristic do you believe anchors the others? Explain why you believe this to be true. 10.
