Why Have Code of Conduct? To ensure a safe and purposeful event with expected behaviors consistent with the high ideals of Key Club!

Terms Used in the COC Attendees: all individuals attending District Convention Curfew: the designated time for all Key Club members to remain in their rooms (12am to 5am)

THE DRESS CODE Follow attentively! All attendees are to abide by the Dress Code at all times, including SAA Officers No inappropriate clothing allowed

“Dress classy, never trashy!” - Bethany Mota Friday: Spirit Attire Shoes: athletic, casual, or dress shoes that cover the heel. AVOID: sandals, flip flops, Tevas, etc. Bottoms: Ankle length pants in good condition (jeans, slacks, khakis, etc.) worn at the waist. AVOID: shorts, leggings, Capris, skirts, etc. Tops: Unaltered tee-shirts, sweatshirts, button down dress shirts, blouses or collared shirts that cover the stomach, back, torso, and shoulders. Saturday: Business Professional FEMALES: Shoes: Dress shoes, flat or with heels that cover the heel. AVOID: athletic, multi-colored, metallic, or glitter type shoes, etc. Bottoms: Ankle length dress pants/slacks or unadjusted, top of the knee or longer in length skirts. AVOID: shorts, leggings, Capris, jeans, corduroy, parachute, baggy pants Tops: Button down dress shirts or blouses that cover the stomach, chest, back, torso, and shoulders with no visible cleavage.

Saturday: Business Professional MALES Shoes: Black/dark leather or patent leather dress shoes with black/dark socks. AVOID: suede, canvas, athletic, etc. Bottoms: Ankle length dress pants in good condition. AVOID: shorts, jeans, corduroy, parachute, or baggy pants Tops: Button down dress shirts properly tucked into the pants and a matching tie. Coat/jacket is optional.

AVOID: shorts, skirts, leggings, Capris, etc. Tops: Button down dress shirts, blouses, or collared shirts.

Sunday: Convention Casual Shoes: athletic, casual, or dress shoes that cover the heel. AVOID: sandals, flip flops, Tevas, etc. Bottoms: Ankle length pants in good condition (jeans, slacks, khakis, etc.) worn at the waist. AVOID: shorts, skirts, leggings, Capris, etc. Tops: Unaltered convention tee-shirts.

EXPECTATIONS Follow attentively! As an SAA officer, you serve as a role model to all those around you. Follow all rules and code of conduct procedures. Failure do so will result in consequences.

Lodging No Key Club member is allowed on balconies Opposite gender rooming of any kind is not allowed Will result in immediate removal from Convention All members must abide by curfew

Responsible Behavior Must respect the rulings of the SAA Committee, administrators, and staff Will abide by government laws and regulations May not possess any inappropriate items Will act in respect towards others Will wear convention identification badge and wristband at all convention events
