Emma will arrive on Tuesday, Dec. 6. The children and I are very excited to have a new friend in our class! are, were, what, who, when Our Learning Reading: Students will learn to use their schema to make predictions and make connections to various texts. Writing: Today, students listened to the story Knuffle Bunny and will write about a time when we were sad or made. We will put speech bubbles in our illustrations. Our Learning Social Studies: We are learning about different groups we belong to and about what makes our families special. Math: As we continue unit 5, shapes and patterns, students will continue to make pictures and models with shapes. We will also observe shapes around us. Community Outreach Toiletry drive: toiletries will be donated to a local homeless shelter Toy Collection (ages 5 to teens) thru Dec. 16. Toys will be donated to Hogan’s Heroes at CHOP and Laurel House
