“Salut année 8!” here is a re-resubmission for your practice of the present tense! You need to learn and practise this grammar rule for next lesson! You are meant to remember the verb ending for each personal pronoun. If you master the present tense try the future tense! For the ER verbs in French: -First, get rid of the ER. -Second, you are left with the stem. -Third, match the personal pronoun with the correct ending.

Exemple: Jouer: “to play” I You He She We They Je Tu Il Elle On Nous Vous Ils Elles jou e es ons ez ent

Exemple: chanter: “to sing” You He She We They Je Tu Il Elle On Nous Vous Ils Elles chant e es ons ez ent

Pratique! Exemple: parler: “to talk” You He She We They Je Tu Il Elle On Nous Vous Ils Elles parl

Can you apply the rule? Now, try with these verbs: regarder, chercher, téléphoner, détester, aimer et adorer. Attention: “aimer et adorer”. Use J’ not je! Remember: practice makes perfect!

Exemple: chanter: “to sing” For the future tense keep the whole ER verb then add: I You He She We They Je Tu Il Elle On Nous Vous Ils Elles chanter ai as a ons ez ont

Exemple: chanter: “to sing” For the future tense keep the whole ER verb then add: I You He She We They Je Tu Il Elle On Nous Vous Ils Elles danser ai as a ons ez ont

Exemple: jouer: “to play” I You He She We They Je Tu Elle Nous Elles jouer ai a ez ont Now add the missing ending and the missing pronouns!

Exemple: regarder: “to look/ watch” Can you spot the correct verb ending for each pronoun? I You He She We They Je Tu Il Elle On Nous Vous Ils Elles regarder ai as a ont ez ons regarder as a ons ez Ez ont

Pratique avec les verbes: nager, habiter, marcher, laver, monter et casser! Merci et bon weekend!
