About TechSoup

The Need Is Global – And So Are We 2/14/2018 The Need Is Global – And So Are We TechSoup’s mission is to build a dynamic bridge that enables civil society organizations and social change agents around the world to gain effective access to the resources they need to design and implement solutions for a more equitable planet. TechSoup doesn’t just help NGOs overcome barriers to effective use of technology. We also help NGOs overcome language, economic, geographic, cultural, knowledge, and access barriers. We create new ways to access technology, new paths to connect and network, and new means to learn and develop skills — all so that NGOs can operate at their full potential, more effectively deliver their programs and services, and better achieve their missions. Who Can Get TechSoup Technology? Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status, including Museums of all kinds Historical sites and historical societies Zoos Planetariums Botanical gardens and arboreta and more If you have a 501(c)(3) status, we can connect you with tech donations! Not all organizations are eligible for all donations. Like you as an individual, our donor partners choose where to direct their donations.

2. Know How to Get that Tech

Registration: The First Step to Getting Tech Donations Go to https://www.techsoup.org/joining- techsoup/registration Information you’ll want to have handy EIN Budget Your organization type and budget affect eligibility for donation programs. So for example, some donors really want to focus on smaller organizations, so they limit their donations to organizations with under $1M budget. After you’ve registered, TechSoup reviews your registration to confirm all your information. Once you have added your organization, it can take up to seven business days for TechSoup to verify your nonprofit status by conducting an initial qualification review. If we are unable to qualify your organization independently, we will email your organization requesting additional documentation.

Browse or Search for Donations and Resources Demo search and nav

Search Includes Products and Resources Navigate through search results, point out that they can find related educational resources
