Overview of the M-Powered Services 5 Services designed to streamline your business processes! Have you heard about the M-Powered Services? What service/s do you know about? Either choose a service to talk about asking the relevant PQ’s or give a basic overview of what the MPS are eg. a brief overview would be….. You can do things like: Pay your super funds, employees and suppliers electronically directly from within your MYOB software You can also offer your customer’s more ways to pay you with: B-Pay, Post Bill Pay and Credit Card by Phone/Internet Automatically reconcile your bank accounts against your general ledger if with WBC/CBA Track your liabilities in an instant snapshot, then pay the ATO electronically from within your MYOB software Would you like to hear more about these services? I can have someone from our M-Powered Services team contact you to advise? When would be a suitable time for someone to contact you? Lead

What type of Lead do I put through? No call back lead You have advised the customer of MPS but they don’t want to talk with anyone from the MPS team, they are happy to receive information and will contact us if interested – email them datasheets or family brochure Call back lead You have spoken to the customer about one or more of the services, asked the relevant probing questions and they would like to hear more, but would prefer someone call them back at a later date You have spoken to the customer about MMp or MMbs and they are very interested but bank with ANZ. Clearly state in your notes that the customer is not wanting a call, but would like an expression of interest completed. Hot lead transferred You have spoken to the customer and they seem very interested in one or more of the services and you have asked the relevant PQ’s relating to that service – ‘hot lead’ transfer to the MPS sales team

So how do they do things now? Paying Super – they would print a report from MYOB and either pay via cheque or online, they then have to complete funds paperwork Paying Suppliers/Employees – either same as above, but they can also create an ABA bank file and import this info into their online banking and pay electronically this way. They would then either email or fax remittance advices manually. Reconciling Bank Statements – they would either do this manually with a paper statement or import an ABA bank file from their banking online into MYOB to then auto-reconcile. They can only view statements online dating back 3 months. Sending Invoices – their customers would mainly pay them via cheque, cash, direct debit or credit card/eftpos (in store merchant) Tracking Liabilities – Reports in MYOB can help or accountant. Payments to the ATO through online banking or cheque. This money would either be set aside in a separate account earning interest or sitting in their general trading account earning no or little interest.
