DROs: Best Practices ……… Use a 2-node cluster as minimum building block deployment Add additional nodes as required (performance and/or storage) Each node must have its own DCSW license(s) ……… Take advantage of Stretch Cluster for enhanced HA (up to 50 km) Use RAID-1 for SSDs and RAID-5 or 6 for HDDs (DRO default) For storage upgrades, add at least 5-10% in SSD capacity Use 1TB extensions on top of Base license to get to a specific capacity Make sure to use appropriate 1TB Extension license P/Ns to optimize SW costs Always add Implementation Services & Training
