RED INK Indigenous Initiative for All: Creativity and Collaboration at Work

Key Partners RED INK Indigenous Initiative for All brings together key partners and participants, both on and off the Arizona State University campus and infrastructure. Among the crucial participants in the Initiative are Indigenous nations of the Southwest (expanding outward from central Arizona)   Tribal school districts, associations, professional organizations

The RED INK Initiative is an interrelated set of campus, regional, national and international projects, including an international journal, to achieve the following mission and goals in collaboration with Indigenous communities.

Mission To Develop and Improve: Avenues of access to higher education for Indigenous communities and pathways to success for Native students  

Mission To Develop and Improve: (2) World access to Indigenous creative, artistic, and intellectual expression

Mission To Develop and Improve: (3) Discourse among Native and non-Native communities about Indigenous issues 

Goals To form a consortium of partners to include local, regional, national and international Indigenous tribal governments and their cultural and educational programs and systems.

Goals To create, provide, process, and promote Indigenous K-12 curriculum materials locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally-as done by the Montana Office of Public Instruction.

Goals To create discourse communities among Native K-12 students, teachers, and counselors, as well as tribal leaders, tribal members, and all interested Native and Non-Native parties.

Goals To promote and provide culturally sustaining pedagogy through traditional Indigenous cultural resources and professional development and electronic data base resources.
