Where/How do you dress for success? Casual attire: Sports events, family gatherings, and outings with friends…etc Business casual: Business meetings, job interviews, and awards’ dinner…etc

The Do’s of Dressing for Success 1. Do: Invest in good quality accessories. A good watch, a leather handbag, and shoes. 2. Do: Wear natural looking makeup 3. Do: Keep hair and nails clean and neat 4. Do: Wear a suit 5. Do: Wear closed-toe, polished and scuff- free shoes

More Do’s 6. Do: Tailor your clothes 7. Do: Wear light cologne or none at all 8. Do: Wear conservative colors only 9. Do: Wear nylons and shoes with low heels 10. Do: Wear blouses

The Do Not’s of Dressing For Success 1. Don’t: Over-accessorize: It only makes you look unprofessional. Save the bling for the weekend 2. Don’t: Wear something too bold 3. Don’t: Wear shorts 4. Don’t: Wear sunglasses on your head 5. Don’t: Wear anything with holes/rips

Do you know how to dress appropriately for a business casual event? Business casual is crisp, neat, and should look appropriate. It should not look like cocktail or party or picnic attire. Avoid tight or baggy clothing; business casual is classic rather than trendy. Everything should be clean and well pressed.
