Co-Curricular Activities Honor Guard Small teams that develop an expertise in military drill. Teams include Color Guard, Standard Armed, Standard Unarmed, Exhibition Armed, Exhibition Unarmed and Sabers. Awareness Presentation Team Presentations to elementary and middle school students about transitioning to high school, Poly climate/curriculum, and the AFJROTC program. Community Service Volunteer service projects that benefit the school and surrounding community such as serving meals to the hungry, building care packages for military veterans, and playing BINGO with the elderly, Orienteering *NEW* A navigation race, often held in unfamiliar terrain, using a map and compass. Cadet Socials Social events that promote camaraderie and unit cohesiveness.

Classroom Rules/Procedures All AFJROTC cadets shall: Arrive to class and be ready for roll call before the late bell rings Follow school policies regarding school ID, dress code and outerwear Refrain from eating or drinking in the classroom; clear bottles with water are allowed Refrain from abusive language and disrespectful behavior Refrain from using cell phones and electronic devices in the classroom Demonstrate academic integrity in all coursework, including uniform wear Roll Call: A systematic procedure led by cadets at the beginning of each class Includes roll call/attendance, pledge of allegiance and announcements Key players: First Sergeant, Element Leaders, Staff Commander & Flight Commander
