Responsibilities: Customer Service Security

Entrance Door Greet shopper and welcome them to the sale Collect passes (if needed) Collect one canned good per adult for early admission (Thurs-Sat only) and set aside Put green zip ties on any strollers, wagons, 31 Gifts Bags or Diaper bags Give shopper a blue shopping bag(s) Share pertinent info: More than one building? Half price day on red dot items? Getting ready to close?

EXIT DOOR ALL items leaving the building should be: Inside a tied shut trash bag or Wrapped with yellow flagging tape or Attached to a Claim Ticket WITH the matching bottom half (see next slide) Look under strollers, in bags, etc for loose items Find something forgotten? Take customer to the cashier Inspect their Receipt: Is it stamped “PAID Three Bags Full” in red? If not, take receipt and customer to the cashier Put a highlighted mark across center of receipt Thank the shopper for coming! Photo of Claim Ticket coming Soon

Claim Ticket Retrieval BEFORE a “large item” leaves the building follow these steps: Is it stamped “PAID Three Bags Full” in red? If not, item doesn’t leave the building Take Claim Ticket to cashier to re-scan Is it signed on the back by the cashier? Does the barcode tag description match the item? If not, find a Sale Assistant 4. Compare the black serial numbers on the top right corner of both halves of the Claim Ticket (top and bottom half) Do they match? Customer takes it home Are they different? Find the right item 5. Initial the Claim Ticket and put in basket Portion attached to the item goes home with customer

Remember! Arrive a few minutes early to learn your position. Sign-in and sign-out so your shift will count! Wear a 3BF t-shirt & name tag (provided) or 3BF apron Put a highlighter in your pocket for marking receipts YOU are important! Your role is crucial to keeping items secure and making sure they were paid for! YOU are their last contact with 3BF. Be friendly, thank them for coming, remind them of our next event , tell them about half price days, etc. THANK YOU for helping out during Sale Week! ASK if you have any questions!
