Learning all about Australia in KS 1 G’day everyone!

Australian Day at the Nook! Australia Day is the national day of Australia celebrating the arrival of the First Fleet at Sidney Cove in 1788. It is a day to celebrate all the things that people love about the country of Australia.  Australia day takes place on January 26th. People celebrate by going down the beach, and sometimes they go to firework displays. We celebrated by having a full day of Australian activities in KS 1.
