CHKD offers online support for information about finances, billing, and insurance for its patient’s and their families

Overview In summary, the CHKD system provides many of the five dimensions of access to health care services. They provide a variety of services in a concentrated area to utilize a interprofessional approach to treatment without putting a strain on families to travel for access. They support families with financial advice and assistance, and clearly expose potential patients to the types of insurances that they accept. The CHKD system may be concentrated within Norfolk, and is not a national hospital system, it serves its community with high quality health care and a wide variety of specialties, services, and settings.
