Division

Division The action of separating something into equal parts.

Group A number of people or items put together.

Equal Having the same number or amount.

Quotient The answer obtained by dividing.

Remainder A part or number that is left over.

MINGLE MINGLE GAME TIME Students will wonder around the room saying mingle, mingle, mingle. Teacher rolls the dice and calls out that number. Students must form groups of said number. Whoever is left out is the remainder. Call out the problem. (ex: 17 (students) divided by 3 (die #) equals 5 groups with a remainder of 2.
