Quality means The standard or the degree of excellence of something

TVET Quality Assurance High-quality TVET, leads to a higher status and improved attractiveness of TVET. Therefore the standards of Quality Assurance and Quality Control should be applied to TVET

NSQAS is the National Skills Quality Assurance System

NSQAS defines quality as when a product or service meets the needs of its clients.

NSQAS will ensure that Graduates of training organizations workplace assessment programs apprenticeship programs other achievement pathways covered by the National Skills Development System have the skills, knowledge and attitudes to meet the needs of - industry, employers, and - the community.

Upgrading of Quality The required skills, knowledge and attitudes are not fixed forever It will change over time as new knowledge is developed and skills requirements change. As a result, the NSQAS is designed to be a cycle of continuous improvement.

Objectives of Skills Quality Assurance System Improve the quality of skills development in Bangladesh. Introduce new national quality standards Ensure nationally consistent and high quality training Assessment services for learners.

Steps of Quality assurance system are - Registration of public and private training providers; Development of nationally recognized units of competency; Accreditation of learning and assessment programs;

Contd. Auditing of training providers; Validation of assessment tools; Development and publication of quality procedures and manuals and Effective implementation.

Quality assurance purview in TVET in graduates, in teachers, in training courses, in workplaces, in training organizations and in industry.
