What It Means To Be Faithful It means to worship God, love and serve Him Go to church, participate and sing Love all His creations Help others in need Pray

What it means to be Catholic Jesus said “do this in memory of me “ We get to celebrate Communion every week Communion is Holy Bread & wine are really Jesus

Things To Think About What you are receiving How much God loves us Receiving communion is a way of praising God Before-forgiveness During-how blessed you are After- your thanks

Nervous???? Spilling the wine Falling Dropping the host Doing something wrong while receiving Having all eyes on you What it will taste like

How does Communion make you feel? Confident Special It’s a privilege Jesus is now resting in me God is blessing me It feels good New start of the week Sharing a special bond

What would you tell someone about communion? It shows us how much God loves us Receiving is a way to show God we love Him It praises Him It’s more than just bread and wine You get to receive Jesus into your heart

What would you tell a 2nd grader? Think about what you are receiving It’s not about your dress or suit-it’s about receiving Jesus Don’t be scared-it’s a beautiful thing-enjoy it!!!!
