Mother’s Day - Jewelry Sale TODAY!   Right after First Light today, at 7:30am please buy some jewelry from the ladies at the hallway tables. 100% of the proceeds go toward building a facility in El Salvador to protect & care for women that have been delivered from the evils of sex trafficking.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS – SEE YOUR HANDOUT FOR MORE DETAILS. Is it wrong for Christians to go to court?  Are they “demanding their rights” in a way that violates the Bible?    What Biblical convictions do you have that you would be willing to suffer loss rather than compromise those beliefs?  How does Daniel’s example of declining to eat the king’s food (Daniel 1) and to pray to God when the law prohibited it (Daniel 6) help us determine what Biblical convictions we should refuse to compromise? The Christian photographer, cake baker and florist have been or are being sued by their state governments for declining to participate in a same-sex wedding.  Should they be fighting these discrimination charges to uphold God’s design for marriage and not communicate something that contradicts it?  How do we determine what Biblical convictions we should be willing to suffer loss for upholding, and which ones should bend or make exceptions for?  What about other issues, such as drinking alcohol, or home schooling, or sending one’s children to public schools, or voting for a political candidate that supports legalized abortion?
