Writing & Illustrating a Picture Book Use the APP Book Creator in order to write a picture book. Your book should be 10-15 pages in length, not counting the title page. It should include illustrations, colorful and neat, on each page. Pay special attention to your content --- picture books use words that count! They get the biggest bang for their bucks!!! Your language should be picturesque – imaginative – original – fresh! Your story should have a ‘lesson’ learned. Your story should have a clear beginning, middle, and end.
