Do not provide cleats, cup or mouthpieces

Your Role as a Parent Honor the Game/ROOTS of positive play “Game Day Tips” Ex: Before the Game – tell your child you are proud of him/her regardless of the outcome of the game Ex: During the Game – Encourage don’t Coach Ex: After the Game – Avoid the post game analysis – let your child tell you about the game Ex: What if…the official makes a bad call…Honor the Game – let the coaches deal with it

Player Responsibilities Give 100% at practice and during games Mistakes are OK, that is how we learn. Respect all coaches and teammates Honor the Game/ROOTS of positive play means respect for: R – ules O – pponents O – fficials T – eammates S – elf
