GNSS Simulator Assists Galileo; Orbit Correction Example 1: How GNSS testing can help? Identify Problem: Aug 22, 2014: Two Galileo satellites fail to reach correct orbit due to hardware design failure in rocket fuel line. Test Solution: Spirent’s engineers generated a special service release for ESA of our PosAp software. This enabled ESA engineers to simulate different candidate orbits, to simulate the different outcomes Problem Resolution: “We iterated with Spirent to get the patch we needed in order to simulate GSAT 0201/0202.
