Unit 2 Protecting Our Planet SAHAR ALMUDAIHEEM

Many species of animals and plants on our planet are endangered Many species of animals and plants on our planet are endangered. It is important to find ways of protecting them before they disappear. Wildlife conservation Plant-life conservation Legalized hunting Keep animals in zoos

Mangrove is a special kind of tree that grows near salt water and sends out roots from its trunk and branches. Theses roots provide a home for creatures such as shellfish.

We use many expressions to introduce examples. Many of them are placed directly before the example. Many of them are placed directly before the example. Bee population are decreasing in many areas of the world, for example, China and Brazil. This decrease is caused by a number of factors, for instance, viruses, habitat loss and climate change.

It’s important to follow strategies to protect bees, such as, educating the public about the role of bees, and paying farmers to protect the bee habitats. A few expressions may be placed after the examples, especially in casual speech. Bee population are decreasing in many areas of the world _ China and Brazil, for example . This decrease is caused by a number of factors _ viruses, habitat loss and climate change, for instance.

Overview of the Video This video discusses the mugger crocodile, an endangered crocodile that lives mostly in Sri Lanka. The crocodile was once common throughout India, but the growth of human population has caused the mugger habitat to shrink.

What is the difference between a debate and a discussion? A discussion is a conversation where participants can interrupt each other and respond more spontaneously to each other’s arguments. A debate is more formal. In a debate, speakers usually for or against an issue. One side presents their arguments first. The other side then presents the opposing arguments.
