Convert a Graphic to .bmp file BMP®61 Printer Tutorial The BMP61 printer will import a .bmp file graphic via USB Flash drive. This allows the user to add images on board. Convert a Graphic to .bmp file Files must be 1. .bmp format due to 300 dpi print head accepts dots per inch 2. under 40kb in size 3. black and white Step 1: Open a Graphic in Microsoft Paint Step 2: Save the Graphic as monochrome.bmp Step 3: Resize and resave to see new file size This takes some trial and error as you have to actually save the file to see what the new size is. In this example, my graphic worked at 75%. I resized to 75% and resaved it with “_75” at the end of file name <Notice the updated file size is under 40kb> Step 4: Save to USB Flash Drive Picture/Sample of Label/Output This is one example, there are of course, additional ways to do this task SAVE TO USB
