Technology All students have Google accounts: can be accessed from anywhere Google Classroom Aeries Accout (new portal) ConnectEd Https://connected.mcgraw-hill.com/connected Both classrrom will be a hybrid of digital and pencil/paper assignments. They will need access to a computer as well as a printer at home.

Classwork and Homework Every assignment is graded. All assignments need to be turned in on time. No late work is accepted. Major projects will be graded down one full grade for each calendar day they are turned in late.

Accelerated Reader AR Books Every three weeks, we go to the library and students are to check out books within their reading levels AR Tests Students will have an ar goal for the month that they must reach. Every month their points are due to me I will have my own incentives for ar points as well as 6th grade incentives School wide ar incentives: 50 points per trimester/150 at the end gets the student into an ar luncheon 1st 50 Oct. 28, 2nd 100 Feb. 16, 3rd 150 by April 21

Aeries Check your child’s grades weekly. Great way to stay update on your child’s academic progress. Every parent has a password. MI = missing assignment Every Thursday we will send home a weekly report with student work. This report will need to be signed by a parent and returned on Friday.
