HOW TO DEMO HPE ARUBA SOLUTIONS SE Enablement LAB CONFIDENTIAL © Copyright 2014. Aruba Networks, Inc. All rights reserved

What is SEEL? Look it up on Arubapedia! SEEL has 2 meanings first is an acronym for the SE Enablement Lab. It is also a term used in Falconry it means: To stitch closed the eyes of (a falcon). It is meant to teach the Falcon (SE) to trust the trainer and learn to hunt as part of a team. We want the SE to learn how we do things and learn to go up against our competitors fearlessly. https://arubapedia.arubanetworks.com/arubapedia/index.php/What_is_SEEL SEEL is meant to be a stable demo environment. Demos that can be replicated reliably over and over again with no or minimal impact on others doing demos simultaneously. This is much harder than it seems. It took a long time to develop the demos in this matter as most people just want to use an admin login to do their demos. SEEL is NOT a sandbox (you do not get to play and make configuration changes to the SEEL environment) give examples of why. SEEL is not meant to be customized per customer. (This is what PoC is for) CONFIDENTIAL © Copyright 2014. Aruba Networks, Inc. All rights reserved

SEEL Demo Architecture Resources Include Lync PBX ClearPass AirWave Palo Alto Mobile Iron Splunk MaaS360 Spectrum Analysis Visual RF AppRF Remote Switching The SEEL environment is designed to allow a full suite of demos remotely. Connecting a RAP to the internet will allow the rap to bring up a fully secured IPSEC tunnel back to the lab. The allows us to extended the lab out to wherever the rap is at a Layer 2/3 level. It makes all lab resources available to the SE doing a demo. CONFIDENTIAL © Copyright 2014. Aruba Networks, Inc. All rights reserved

Primary SE Enablement Lab There is a lot of Technology in the lab. The concept behind the lab is to use our own dog food. The core is an S3500 ArubaStack We use VM servers heavily The Lab is constantly changing. Adding features, functionality CONFIDENTIAL © Copyright 2014. Aruba Networks, Inc. All rights reserved

SEEL APAC SEEL APAC supports only the latest stable demos and also contains a tradeshow controller. CONFIDENTIAL © Copyright 2014. Aruba Networks, Inc. All rights reserved

SEEL EMEA SEEL EMEA only supports the current stable demos CONFIDENTIAL © Copyright 2014. Aruba Networks, Inc. All rights reserved

PARTNER REGISTRATION For all customers demos should start in SEEL the point is to show we can do what we say we do. SEEL is maintained by the TME’s, PLM and Myself for each demo. How SEEL is deployed is how corp wants it to be shown. The point is to cut down PoC time as customization takes a lot of time and resources that are already stretched. Flow should always be SEEL > PoC > Pilot What demos are in SEEL? CONFIDENTIAL © Copyright 2014. Aruba Networks, Inc. All rights reserved

It is NOT meant to actually demonstrate live streaming. This demo is done over the Internet and a RAP, quality cannot be guaranteed, so, please do not rely on this capability.
