Exports and Gross Domestic Product

Tennessee Exports as Share of Total State GDP 1997 -2011 This is the total state exports based on shipments of origin compared to the GDP reported for the State. This excludes other globalized trends, such as Foreign direct investment, and commodities that move domestically before going to export markets.

Exports as Share of Tennessee Metropolitan Statistical Areas GDP, 2010 This represents exports by MSA in Tennessee, but excludes rural regions.
